Mommy-Daughter Time

I snapped this picture while out on Lake Pleasant with my parents.  Clarinda then made it a black-and-white, which I think really adds to it.

Happy Father’s Day

For Father’s Day, here’s a picture of my Dad with Hunter at Lake Pleasant.  We were on our way back from an afternoon of playing near the water, so Hunter was pooped out.  I think they both took a nap once we got back to the RV.

A Man and His Dog

That’s my Dad and his dog Shadow lounging on a rock at Lake Pleasant.  He found Shadow when she wandered over to the church one day, and he’s had her ever since.  And yes, it’s typical for the two of them to be lounging.

Happy Flag Day

In case you didn’t know, today is Flag Day, so it’s time for some flag pictures.  I snapped this picture at camp a few years back, then played around with it in Photoshop, so here are my two favorite iterations of the same shot.

Tiny Tortoise!

This is one of our pet tortoises that we were able to get from a friend that I work with.  Yes, they are tiny now, but they’ll get a lot bigger (well, EVENTUALLY they will).  We took this picture the day we brought them home.

I believe I can fly

Uncle Justin was tossing Dawson up in the air when Clarinda was able to snap this picture.  If you can’t tell, Dawson is our fearless child.

Ready for Boating

This is how ready Dawson was a few years ago to ride on the boat.  He wanted his sunglasses/goggles, so now we can all see how cool he really was.  That’s how he rolls.

I was able to snap this picture from a hill we used to hike with the kids when we lived on Geronimo.  There’s a water tower directly behind us here, and we wanted a picture of our neighborhood from up high.  Gotta love that desert landscape.  And yes, you really can see our house (at the time) from there.
